Stage two of the 2026 Tour of Britain women's cycling race will take place on 20 August, covering over 70 miles (113km) through Lancashire, starting in Clitheroe and finishing in Blackpool next to the Mirror Ball. The route includes challenging climbs such as Waddington Fell and the Nick o' Pendle, passing through numerous towns including Sabden, Whalley, and Lytham. This marks the first time the Tour of Britain women's race has visited Lancashire, with the county's last hosting of the men's race being in 2015 when Clitheroe was also the starting point.
