Tracking 31 automatic qualifiers for the 2026 NCAA softball tournament

The 2026 NCAA Division I softball tournament will feature 31 automatic bids awarded to conference champions. Conference tournament play ran from Thursday, April 30, through Saturday, May 9, 2026, with all automatic qualifiers being decided by the end of that period. The 64-team bracket was set to be revealed on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 during the selection show.
