Trescothick keen on England role under incoming Fleming: ‘It’s a wonderful place to be’
Marcus Trescothick, serving as interim head coach for England's three-Test series against Pakistan, has expressed his desire to remain part of Stephen Fleming's backroom staff when the incoming head coach takes over. Trescothick, who was an assistant under Brendon McCullum, got off to a winning start in his interim role as England, led by Joe Root, defeated Pakistan by an innings and 103 runs at Headingley. Meanwhile, Australian Mike Hussey has confirmed a 'casual approach' was made regarding a coaching role.
