Twins' Buxton to have hip surgery, done for season

Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton will undergo surgery on his right hip and is done for the remainder of the season. Buxton has been on the injured list since August 30. The surgery will sideline him for the rest of the current MLB campaign.
