
Two-time Olympic gold medallist Olaf Tufte dies aged 50
Norwegian rower Olaf Tufte has died at the age of 50. He was a two-time Olympic gold medallist who competed in seven consecutive Olympic Games, winning back-to-back gold medals in the single sculls event at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. Tufte was widely regarded as one of the greatest rowers in Norwegian sporting history.
