Tyson Fury Confirms August 1 Fight Return In Dublin

Tyson Fury has confirmed he will return to the ring on August 1 in Dublin, Ireland, in an interim fight before a planned showdown with Anthony Joshua later in 2026. The 37-year-old, who defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision in April following a 16-month retirement, will appear on a Frank Warren-promoted card that also features Pierce O'Leary vs. Mark Chamberlain for the IBO super-lightweight title, though Fury's opponent has not yet been named. Both Fury and Joshua are expected to face respective interim opponents before meeting toward the end of 2026, with Joshua scheduled to fight Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia in July.
