Tyson Fury confirms August ‘runout’ fight: “Then it’s the big one”

Tyson Fury has confirmed he will have a 'runout' fight in August 2026, following his unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April. This will be his second of three planned fights this year, with the highly anticipated bout against Anthony Joshua expected in October or November. Fury stated an opponent for the August fight has not yet been finalised, while Joshua must first get past Kristian Prenga in July before the blockbuster showdown can proceed.
