Tyson Fury u-turns on making fight against fellow British heavyweight

Tyson Fury has reversed his previous stance and is now open to fighting fellow British heavyweight Daniel Dubois, the current WBO world champion, as he plots a comeback toward a third world title reign. Fury had initially dismissed the idea of facing Dubois in a June 2026 interview with FurociTV, comparing the matchup to 'League One against Champions League Football.' Fury lost the WBC heavyweight title to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024, with Usyk now holding three of the four major belts and Dubois holding the remaining WBO strap.
