Veteran boxing journalist Dan Rafael cited a source with direct involvement in the fight, indicating that Netflix and Saudi entertainment company Sela have abandoned their preference for a US venue, particularly Madison Square Garden. Both British heavyweights completed warm-up fights in July, and promoter Eddie Hearn's Matchroom had already committed to hosting the clash in the UK.
