Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua set for 2 a.m. start if hosted in London

The proposed heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, expected in October or November, would require a 2 a.m. local start time if held at Wembley Stadium in London, according to organiser Turki Alalshikh. That start time would accommodate a prime-time US audience at 9 p.m. ET, but would necessitate an exemption to Wembley's existing 11 p.m. curfew — the latest a fight has started there was 10:50 p.m. during Fury vs. Dillian Whyte in April 2022. Alalshikh would need approval from both the London Mayor's office and Brent Council to proceed with the late start.
