Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua timeline: The near-misses before fight finally agreed

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have finally agreed to fight on December 21 in Cardiff, ending years of failed negotiations. The two former two-time heavyweight champions first crossed paths in a sparring session at Finchley Amateur Boxing Club in June 2010, when Fury was 21 and Joshua was 20. Had the fight materialized in 2021 as previously planned, it would have been for the undisputed world heavyweight title.
