UFC Abu Dhabi adds former welterweight contender to lineup

Santiago Ponzinibbio, the Argentine former welterweight contender, has been added to the UFC Abu Dhabi lineup, as announced on Friday, July 3, 2026. Ponzinibbio most recently fought at UFC Fight Night at the UFC APEX on January 11, 2025, where he faced Carlston Harris of Guyana in a welterweight bout. The UFC officially confirmed his addition to the Abu Dhabi card.
