UFC parent company took a $30M hit on White House fight event
TKO Group, the parent company of UFC, reported a $30 million loss from its Freedom 250 event held at the White House in June, a financial hit the company says it anticipated given the approximately $60 million spent on production and staging. The seven-fight event took place on President Donald Trump's birthday, with UFC CEO Dana White in attendance. Despite the financial loss, the event drew significant viewership, with 17 million people tuning in.
