Ugwu, Crawford Head to Eugene as Pitt Sends Two to NCAA Outdoor Championships

Pitt University will send two shot put competitors, Emeka Ugwu and Niya Crawford, to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, marking the first time in program history that the school has had two shot put qualifiers at the same NCAA Outdoor Championships. The championships are scheduled for June 10, 2026. The pair qualified following a season that included the ACC Outdoor Championships, where the Pitt men finished 9th and the women tied for 14th.
