UK ATHLETICS 10K ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS AT AJ BELL GREAT MANCHESTER RUN 2026

The 2026 AJ Bell Great Manchester Run will feature the UK Athletics 10K Road Championships on Sunday, with elite British athletes competing alongside a world-class field that includes Olympic gold medallists and European champions. Current UK Athletics 10 Mile Road Champions Marc Scott (Richmond & Zetland Harriers) and Verity Ockenden (Swansea Harriers) are among the key competitors. Ockenden, who ran the Manchester course for the first time in 2025, expressed hopes of improving on her previous performance and targeting a personal best, conditions permitting.
