US Olympian Caroline Harvey earns latest accolade in being voted IIHF female player of the year
Caroline Harvey, a 23-year-old U.S. national team and University of Wisconsin defender, was named the IIHF Female Player of the Year on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Harvey won by a landslide, receiving more than 77% of the votes, far ahead of Switzerland forward Alina Muller, who finished second with 9.1%. The award caps a standout year for Harvey, who has established herself as the most accomplished female ice hockey player of her generation.
