Britain's Alfie Hewett defeated Japanese top seed Tokito Oda 6-0, 7-6 (7-5) to win his fifth US Open men's wheelchair singles title at the 2026 US Open, claiming his 11th Grand Slam singles crown overall. The victory prevented Oda from completing a Grand Slam sweep in 2026, having previously beaten Hewett in the French Open and Wimbledon finals. Hewett, 28, also won the doubles title alongside Gordon Reid the day before.
