Rory McIlroy has been grouped with Ryder Cup teammates Tommy Fleetwood and Ludvig Åberg for the first two rounds of the US Open at Shinnecock Hills. McIlroy, who won a major earlier this season, has been given an early-late draw as he chases a second major victory of the year. Scottie Scheffler, bidding for a career Grand Slam, will play alongside Mason Howell and defending champion JJ Spaun, with the opening round airing live on Thursday from 12:30pm on Sky Sports Golf.
