US Senior Open: Ireland's Padraig Harrington wins for third time

Ireland's Padraig Harrington won the US Senior Open for a record-equalling third time at Scioto Country Club in Ohio, joining Miller Barber as the only players to achieve the feat. The 54-year-old, who previously won in 2022 and 2025, defeated home favourite Stewart Cink by four strokes after shooting four under par in the final round. Cink had held a one-shot lead heading into the final round but was overtaken by Harrington's strong finish, giving the Irishman his fourth senior major title overall.
