USA cricketer Akhilesh Reddy handed 8-year ban by ICC for corruption offences

USA cricketer Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy has been handed an eight-year ban from all cricket by an ICC tribunal after being found guilty of three Anti-Corruption Code breaches related to the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 tournament. He was convicted of attempted match-fixing, encouraging a teammate to participate in fixing, and deleting evidence during the investigation. The ban takes effect from November 21, 2025.
