Usain Bolt: From sprint stardom to Sunday league - athletics icon set for Wythenshawe Vets bow

Usain Bolt, 40, the eight-time Olympic gold medallist and world record holder in the 100m and 200m, has been registered to play for Wythenshawe FC Veterans over-35s in the Cheshire Veterans League. The Manchester-based Sunday league side is managed by former Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland and includes notable former professionals such as Danny Drinkwater, Antonio Valencia, Joleon Lescott, Emile Heskey, Marc Albrighton, and Papiss Cisse. Bolt, a lifelong football enthusiast, is set to make his debut for the team.
