USC defeats Texas A&M in the postseason once again

The USC Trojans baseball team defeated Texas A&M 7-1 in the decisive game of the College Station Regional on June 2, 2026, advancing to the super regionals for the first time since 2005. This marks the second time in 18 months that USC has beaten Texas A&M in a postseason setting, following the USC football team's 35-31 victory over the Aggies in the 2024 Las Vegas Bowl, where Jayden Maiava threw a touchdown pass to Kyle Ford with eight seconds remaining.
