Usman Khawaja reveals why he waited eight years to make bombshell Sandpapergate claims that rocked Aussie cricket: 'He talked me out of it'

Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja has revealed why he waited eight years before making explosive claims about the 2018 Sandpapergate scandal, stating that someone talked him out of speaking out at the time. His explanation came a day after he admitted that sandpaper had been used in a Test match prior to the infamous Cape Town 2018 incident, and that the entire Australian team bore responsibility. The revelations have sent shockwaves through Australian cricket, expanding the scope of the original ball-tampering scandal beyond the three players who were suspended at the time.
