USMNT to face rivals Mexico, Canada among first four friendlies after World Cup
The USMNT will play four friendlies in a combined September-October international window as part of their 2030 World Cup cycle under coach Mauricio Pochettino. The schedule begins with matches against Peru (Sept. 26) and Chile (Sept. 29), followed by regional rivals Mexico (Oct. 3) and Canada (Oct. 6). Pochettino has yet to beat Mexico in two attempts, while the Mexico match will also mark new Mexican coach Rafa Marquez's first game against the U.S. as a manager.
