VAR from Manchester derby stood down from duty
VAR official Matt Donohue, who made an 'error of judgement' during Sunday's Manchester derby at Old Trafford, has not been assigned to any Premier League match this weekend. Donohue and assistant Blake Antrobus controversially awarded a goal to Manchester City after a VAR check, despite Enzo Fernández appearing to interfere with play in an offside position during the build-up to Erling Haaland's goal. Referees' body Pro Ref acknowledged it was an error for Donohue not to send referee Michael Oliver to the pitchside monitor to review Fernández's involvement.
