VAR who gave Haaland goal back to PL duty

VAR official Matt Donohue, who incorrectly awarded Erling Haaland's Manchester derby goal on September 13 by failing to spot Enzo Fernández was offside, has been reinstated to Premier League duty and will serve as assistant VAR at the Coventry vs. Fulham match on Saturday. Donohue had not featured in any Premier League match rounds since the incident, though he did officiate EFL Championship matches in the interim. Pro Ref's Howard Webb attributed the error to Donohue developing 'tunnel vision' while focusing on Haaland's offside position.
