Vegas Golden Knights lose Game 5 visiting Hurricanes for Stanley Cup Final
The Vegas Golden Knights lost to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday at Lenovo Center. Pavel Dorofeyev scored twice for Vegas, while Carolina's goals came from Jordan Staal, Sebastian Aho, and Andrei Svechnikov, with two of the Hurricanes' goals coming on the power play. The first period ended 1-1, before Carolina pulled away with two goals in the second period and one more in the third.
