Venus and Serena Williams return to the U.S. Open after four years and the first ending
Serena Williams, 44, and Venus Williams, 46, will reunite to play women's doubles at the U.S. Open on Arthur Ashe Stadium on Friday night, marking their return to the tournament after four years away. The sisters, who have won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles and three Olympic golds together, most recently competed at the Cincinnati Open, where they lost 6-2, 1-6, (10-8) against Peyton Stearns and Marta Kostyuk. Serena had previously returned to singles at Wimbledon, losing in three sets to Maya Joint in her first Grand Slam main draw since the 2022 U.S. Open.
