Verhaeghe, Bennett continue Panthers hat trick streak in win against Kraken

Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett each recorded a hat trick as the Florida Panthers defeated the Seattle Kraken 8-3 at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday, marking their third straight victory. Verhaeghe's natural hat trick made the Panthers the first team in NHL history to have players record a natural hat trick in three consecutive games, following Brady Tkachuk's natural hat tricks in the previous two games. Florida also became the first team in over 100 years to record four or more hat tricks before their 10th game of the season, a feat last achieved by the Toronto St. Patricks in 1922-23.
