Verstappen outlines his ideal future for Formula 1

Max Verstappen has outlined his vision for Formula 1's future, advocating for an 80-20 split between combustion engine and electric power. The Red Bull driver, who has consistently criticized the current regulations since the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix, described the existing engine formula as 'Formula E on steroids' during the Bahrain round. Verstappen also believes an interim solution is needed for next year to address the biggest weaknesses of the current regulations, with the FIA having already announced 2027 F1 rule changes for combustion and electrical output.
