Verstappen signs Red Bull contract extension until 2030

Max Verstappen has signed a contract extension with Red Bull Racing that will keep him at the team until the end of the 2030 season, extending beyond his previous deal which ran until 2028. The four-time World Champion, who has scored 71 victories with Red Bull since joining in 2016, had been linked with other teams amid the squad's struggles under new regulations. The announcement was made ahead of Verstappen's home race in the Netherlands, with the 28-year-old expressing confidence in the team's direction under team principal Laurent Mekies.
