Verstappen wants F1 to avoid Middle East races

Max Verstappen has stated that Formula 1 should avoid ending its season with races in Qatar (November 29) and Abu Dhabi (December 6) due to the ongoing United States-Iran conflict and regional hostilities. F1 is expected to make a decision on whether to proceed with those events in mid-October, with Italy's Imola circuit on standby as an alternative venue for December 6. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton expressed the opposite view, saying he would prefer the season to conclude in the Middle East as originally scheduled.
