Villa relishing UCL challenge after 3rd straight win

Aston Villa defeated Viking FK 3-1 at Villa Park to claim their third consecutive Champions League victory, with goals from Ross Barkley, Emi Buendía (penalty), and an own goal by Henrik Heggheim. The win extended Villa's unbeaten run to 12 major European home games, though a late goal from Viking's Peter Christiansen denied them a clean sheet and top spot in the table. Manager Unai Emery expressed delight at his squad's growing confidence while acknowledging there is still work to be done.
