Virtual cyclists face random drug tests to compete on MyWhoosh app

MyWhoosh, the virtual cycling platform that hosts the UCI Esports World Championships, has launched an anti-doping testing programme for its top e-racers. An initial pool of 700 riders competing in the weekly Sunday Race Club will be subject to random drug tests after they compete. The move is part of a wider integrity programme and follows the growth of virtual cycling competitions that now offer cash prizes.
