Vuelta a Espana results: Matt Brennan wins stage two of Grand Tour debut

Britain's Matt Brennan, 21, sprinted to victory in stage two of the Vuelta a Espana on Sunday, claiming his first Grand Tour stage win on his Grand Tour debut. The 214km stage ran from Monaco to Manosque, with Brennan outpacing rivals including his team-mate Wout van Aert. Overall race favourite Tadej Pogacar retained the leader's red jersey after the stage.
