Wales great George North announces retirement from rugby at end of season

Wales rugby great George North, 34, has announced he will retire from the sport at the end of the current season. North earned 121 caps for Wales before retiring from international rugby in 2024, having started his career at Scarlets before spells at Northampton Saints, where he won the Premiership, Ospreys, and French club Provence. The wing or centre described his career as living out his childhood dream.
