Wales legend George North announces his retirement from rugby

Welsh rugby legend George North has announced his retirement from rugby at age 34. He earned 121 caps for Wales and toured with the British & Irish Lions twice, in 2013 and 2017, and became the youngest player to score a try on his Wales debut at age 18. At club level he represented the Scarlets, Northampton Saints, Ospreys, and most recently French D2 side Provence, having already retired from Test rugby in 2024.
