Wales to welcome cyclists with £4.5m Tour de France fund

The Welsh Government has announced £4.5m in funding for cycling tourism infrastructure ahead of the Tour de France Grand Départ arriving in Wales in 2027. The investment will create a national network of cycling hubs, routes, secure parking, e-bike charging, bike hire, and related facilities across Welsh communities. The Tour de France is expected to attract over one million visitors to Welsh stages and reach a global television audience of 150 million viewers across 190 countries.
