Walker won't 'become a meme' in Championship

Kyle Walker, 36, has declared he will not 'become anyone's meme' as he begins his second season with Burnley in the Championship. The decorated defender, who retired from international football in March 2025 with 96 England caps, is determined to help Burnley win promotion back to the Premier League after their relegation last season. Walker won six Premier League titles and the 2023 Champions League with Manchester City before joining Burnley.
