Warwickshire tennis club to host real tennis world championships

Moreton Morrell Tennis Court Club in Warwickshire will host the Real Tennis World Doubles Championship from 22 to 26 April, featuring the top eight men's players in the world. Real tennis is an ancient court-based sport dating back up to 800 years, famously played by King Henry VIII at Hampton Court Palace in the 1500s. Former BBC Sport presenter Sally Jones, who now works at the club, described the sport as a strategic combination of lawn tennis, squash, and chess.
