Was Jonas Vingegaard’s Tour de France-ending crash caused by drug testers waking him up at 2am? Tadej Pogačar thinks so

Jonas Vingegaard crashed out of the Tour de France on Sunday, approximately 20km from the finish line on a sharp downhill right-hander, ending his participation in the race. Tadej Pogačar has suggested the crash may have been caused by fatigue resulting from anti-doping testers waking Vingegaard at 2am before the stage. This marks the first time since 2020 that both Pogačar and Vingegaard will not finish in the top two positions of the Tour de France.
