Matteo Berrettini will face top seed and 2024 Sardegna Open champion Mariano Navone in the second round of the ATP Challenger 175 event in Cagliari, Italy, on Thursday, with play starting as the second match from 12 p.m. local time. Berrettini advanced to this round after a hard-fought three-set victory over Patrick Kypson (6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6(5)), while Navone arrives on the back of winning his first ATP Tour title in Bucharest earlier this month.
