Waterloo Bridge becomes cricket pitch for T20 World Cup launch

Captains from all 12 teams competing in the Women's T20 World Cup gathered on Waterloo Bridge in central London for a promotional cricket event to launch the tournament. England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt and New Zealand's Sophie Devine were among those present, with New Zealand entering as defending champions following their 2024 victory. England's first match is scheduled against Sri Lanka at Edgbaston on 12 June.
