‘We have to tell them to go down’: Iraola responds to Isak penalty denial for Liverpool

Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola expressed frustration after his side lost 1-0 to Arsenal at Anfield, with Kai Havertz's early strike — following a poor Alisson clearance — proving decisive in Arsenal's first win at Anfield in 14 years. Liverpool had two penalty appeals rejected by referee Andy Madley: a shirt-pull by Jurriën Timber on Alexander Isak and a hold by Christos Tzolis on Cody Gakpo, the latter also dismissed after a VAR review. Iraola suggested he may instruct his players to go to ground more easily in the box, saying 'if you don't go down, you don't call it.'
