Wembley Stadium could host Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua fight – on one condition

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is backing a bid for Wembley Stadium to host the heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, expected to take place in October or November. A key condition is that the fight may need to start as late as 4am to accommodate global television audiences, which would require an exemption to Wembley's current 11pm weekend curfew. The latest a fight has started at Wembley to date was 10.50pm, when Fury faced Dillian Whyte in April 2022.
