West Ham sack head coach Nuno after 14 months

West Ham United have sacked head coach Nuno Espírito Santo after just 14 months in charge, following a disappointing start to the Championship season. The Portuguese manager was dismissed as the club struggled to meet expectations in England's second tier. West Ham had been relegated from the Premier League and Nuno was appointed to lead their return, but poor early-season results cost him his job.
