West Ham’s penalty pain costs them top spot in Championship after QPR draw

West Ham were held to a 1-1 draw by QPR in a London derby Championship clash, preventing them from returning to the top of the table. The Hammers were unable to leapfrog the current leaders due to a penalty miss or penalty-related incident that proved costly. The result means West Ham remain just outside first place in the Championship standings.
