When is 2027 Asian Cup? Tournament gets new date after delay due to conflict in Middle East

The 2027 AFC Asian Cup has been given a new date after delays caused by conflict in the Middle East. Qatar, who hosted and won the 2023 Asian Cup to claim their second consecutive continental title, are aiming to become the first nation to win three straight Asian Cups since Iran achieved the feat between 1968 and 1976. However, the tournament's postponement means Qatar will have to wait longer than anticipated to pursue that historic third consecutive title.
