When will the Eastern Conference Final start? NHL gives two options for Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes are awaiting their Eastern Conference Final opponent, with the NHL releasing two potential schedules depending on whether the Montreal Canadiens vs. Buffalo Sabres series ends in six or seven games, with that series currently tied 2-2. Carolina, who swept the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round, have been idle since May 9 and will hold home-ice advantage regardless of the outcome. The Hurricanes will host four of the seven possible games in the Eastern Conference Final.
