Where Cadillac, Ford stand in F1 after historic Miami GP debut

At the 2025 Formula One Miami Grand Prix, both General Motors' Cadillac F1 and Ford's partner team Red Bull Racing competed on U.S. soil in a historic first for Detroit automakers. Max Verstappen, driving for Ford-backed Red Bull, qualified on the front row and finished fifth after battling Mercedes, McLaren, and Ferrari throughout the race, while Cadillac drivers Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas finished 16th and 18th respectively in the 22-car field. The race, watched by approximately 80 million TV viewers worldwide, marked the third consecutive Grand Prix in which both Cadillac entries reached the finish.
